Long-time Producer Ronny Shome Introduces New Single Titled “Change”

British songwriter and producer Ronny Shome added a new song to his tracklistings called “Change.” The single that came out on September 18, 2022 was inspired by a teacher at college who said: “if you always do what you have always done, you are always going to get what you’ve always got”. That got me thinking about how one has to be determined in life and try whatever it takes to succeed.”

Written and composed by Ronny, “Change” focuses on the determination to create a better life, emphasizing that hard work and appreciation will help with starting anew. The London-based musician reveals that the track was initially inspired by Bee Gees’ “Jive Talkin’“ and had a jazzier vibe, but later evolved to the sound it is today.

Being a pianist, the chord structure and rhythm are very important for Shome. Along with the perfectly curated melodies, Ronny makes sure to write inspiring lyrics as well: “I need a chance, to make it in my own way/ Make a stand, trying to get further/ I don’t mind, if it takes me longer/ A brand new start today/ A Change, changem change is what I need/ To make it on my own, I wanna succeed/ A Change, changem change is what I need/ To make a better life for me finally.”

With hundreds of songs that range from Pop to Electronica to Rock, the versatile artist is influenced by ‘80s music, especially Michael Jackson, Madonna, U2, Guns’ N’ Roses, Bryan Adams. His singles; “Breakthrough,” “Summer Dreams,” “Get Up,” “You’re The One,” and “Want You To Know,” manage to tell stories that are relatable and familiar.
