Watch Stephen Colbert Spoof Billie Eilish ‘Bad Guy’ as Next James Bond Theme

She's the Bond guy… duh. On Thursday night (Jan. 17), Stephen Colbert used his "Meanwhile…" segment on The Late Show to spoof Billie Eilish's not-yet-released theme song for the upcoming James Bond flick, No Time to Die.

After riffing on a series of increasingly absurd headlines from recent news, the late night host addressed the report that Eilish would be taking up the torch as the next 007 crooner, following in the footsteps of Sam SmithAdele and many other huge pop and rock icons. However, Colbert quipped that he just didn't get how the 18-year-old pop star's whole vibe was supposed to mesh with the secret agent's immortally chic brand. "Am I supposed to dance or pass this video along so I don't die in seven days?" he joked after playing a clip from Eilish's admittedly out-there "Bad Guy" visual.

However, he seems to have worked it out, rewriting the Hot 100 chart topper as a humorous video for the film. "James Bond/ You are a super spy/ Movie/ It's called 'No Time to Die'/ Get drunk, have *** and shoot a gun/ Being James Bond sounds fun/ He's a Bond guy… duh," a green-haired Eilish doppleganger whisper-sang in the spoof while bopping through scenes of artfully fired guns and men in suits, all while in a yellow sweatsuit similar to the one worn by the 18-year-old star in the original video.

As the 25th installment in the long-running James Bond series, No Time To Die is set to hit theaters nationwide on April 10, so fans will have to wait a bit longer to hear what Eilish — the youngest Bond title singer in history — really has in store for the movie's theme song.
