After releasing Bitch I'm the Shit 2 last summer, Tyga smartly receded from hip-hop headlines, affiliations with the Kardashians be damned. Now, he's teed up a new full-length for 2018, though the artwork alone is sure to get people talking again.
Taking to social media today, the rapper shared the artwork for his forthcoming disc Kyoto. The cover — further proving that rappers are surrounded by too many yes men — features a nude woman-tiger hybrid holding an animalistic position in front the flag Japan.
It's anyone's guess how T-Raww dreamed this one up. The certifiably wild artwork comes courtesy Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama, who also handled the cover art for Aerosmith's 2001 full-length Just Push Play.
"I been wanting to make this album for a while now but didn't have the confidence an sic] the story to express my true emotions," Tyga tweeted. "I thank all the love an support you have given me over the years. Thru my ups an downs, at my highest and my lowest points. Thru my brightest and darkest hours. This album is me opening my heart to you and I hope you enjoy it and love it as much as I do THANK YOU GOD ALWAYS."
Kyoto will arrive February 16 through Last Kings/Empire.
