The unsolved mystery of who shot Megan Thee Stallion continues, for now. According to Page Six, Megan was shot by singer/rapper Tory Lanez in the van prior to his arrest. The publication reports that the “Savage” rapper and her friend Kelsey Nicole were “trying to leave” the vehicle. Following their attempt, the “Talk To Me” artist opened fire twice, inuring Megan’s foot.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Pederson and Meg were posted together poolside with Kylie Jenner this past weekend. From the nature of the video, everything was fine and dandy. TMZ reports that an argument erupted after the group including Lanez, Megan, and Kelsey, left the Hollywood Hills party. The Canadian rapper was the only person arrested early Sunday morning. He posted $35,000 bail and was released after. His court date is set for Oct. 13.

Since the incident, Megan Thee Stallion, along with members of her team have released statements. In her statement, the “Savage” rapper clarified the previous reports.

“I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” she wrote on Instagram.”

Megan’s close friend, Kelsey Nicole, denied being the shooter but did confirm her presence. On the other hand, the Houston Hottie’s producer, Juju denied all claims that Tory Lanez was protecting Megan.

Following his arrest, Tory posted $35,000 bail and was released after. His court date is set for Oct. 13. We’ll continue to update as the story unfolds.
