The Yutes & Stove God Cooks Deliver Anthemic “In The Kitchen” Single

New York and Jamaica are linking up in a big way once again as Caribbean-bred Trap/Dancehall/Rap duo The Yutes joins forces with Syracuse-hailing lyricist Stove God Cooks on their latest single “In The Kitchen.”

Considering they are direct descendants of Dancehall legend Mr. Lexx, The Yutes, a brotherly duo helmed by Chris and Santris, exude sonic undertones of Reggae and Dancehall genres — which are combined with their aggressive and hard-hitting lyrical style. The result of that soundclash is the goup’s latest single “In The Kitchen.”

Serving as the soundtrack for hand-to-hand hustle, The Yutes and Stove God Cooks trade dope game double entendres over the pulsating, muddy 808-drum heavy production. “In The Kitchen” is the first collaboration between the Babygrande Records signees, who recently joined a storied roster of artists at the independent label such as Raekwon, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, GZA, Pete Rock, and U-God.

With their latest release, The Yutes continue down their path of productivity in 20201 following their 4/20 friendly “High Grade” collaboration with Curren$y, and the visual for their record “Bring It Back”
