Booker was selected by Commissioner Adam Silver, a move that was applauded by head coach Monty Williams.
“The situation at the time was a bit weird for us when Devin didn’t get the call, but we’re grateful for what has transpired over the last few hours and we’re just happy for Book,” Williams said to ESPN.
The selection will also be applauded by LeBron James who sounded off on Twitter after the Suns’ star was originally snubbed.
Devin Booker is the most disrespected player in our league!!! Simple as that.

This year Booker is averaging 25 points while the Suns have a 20-11 record and set at the fourth seed in the Western Conference. The team appears to be on the road to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.
