Lil Yachty will be making his way back to the silver screen with a Mattel Films-based movie based on the card game Uno.
Variety magazine has reported that Lil Boat will begin production for an action heist film based on the almost 50-year-old popular card game set in Atlanta’s burgeoning Hip Hop scene.
Along with Lil Yachty, Mattel Films will produce the movie with Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “P” Thomas and Brian Sher for Quality Films.
Robbie Brenner, executive producer, and Kevin McKeon, supervising producer, will lead the project for Mattel Films.
“I’m so excited to be part of this film with Mattel,” said Yachty. “I played Uno as a kid and still do today, so to spin that into a movie based on the Atlanta hip hop scene I came out of is really special. It hits close to home for me.”
