Kyle Kuzma Isn’t Worried About Playoff Seeding, LeBron James Looking to Carry Team Load

The Los Angeles Lakers are a bit short-handed as Anthony Davis is out for at least a month and there are a couple more nagging injuries across the team. The losses may change their place in the standings but Kyle Kuzma is not pressed about it.

“I don’t really know that’s it’s as imperative as past years,” Kuzma said. “There’s not really a homecourt advantage and regardless, before you get to the Finals, you’re going to play the Clippers or the Jazz, or you’re going to play somebody that’s up there. It doesn’t really matter too much. ‘Bron was a four seed in his last year in Cleveland and went to the Finals. It doesn’t matter.”

While Kuzma points out the Jazz and Clippers are worthy opponents, the power of LeBron James cannot be overlooked.

“I think that’s what it all boils down to, and right now is another challenge for me, to be able to adjust,” James said. “Not having AD for a long period of time is something that we haven’t had over the last year and a half, and now it’s time for me to adjust again and see ways I can be even more effective to help this team win ballgames. Because that is the sport that we’re in.”
