Billie Eilish Feels Like She’s ‘In a Movie’ Thanks to Historic Grammy Night

Plus, the latest on Justin Bieber, BTS, Lady Gaga & more on This Week in Billboard News Podcast.

Welcome to the This Week in Billboard News podcast, where Gary Trust, Billboard senior director of charts, and Danica Daniel, Billboard senior editor (filling in for Jordyn Rolling, Billboard News host), dive into the week's biggest music news stories.

This week, Billie Eilish shares how she felt just ahead of the 62nd Grammy Awards on Sunday. Before she became the first woman ever to win the Grammys' four biggest annual honors (album, record and song of the year and best new artist) in the same year, she actually wasn't confident (at all), as she told Billboard on the red carpet.

"It's crazy to be on the other side, which is something I never would have expected in my life," she marveled. "It feels like I'm in a movie right now, or it feels like I was let in by accident. That's, like, the vibe I got. I'm like, wow, I'm not meant to be here. This is like, 'No one wants me here.' That's how I feel. But I am so grateful to be here."

Billboard senior editor Lyndsey Havens also muses about Eilish's ascent, the tough competition the singer-songwriter faced among her fellow Grammy nominees, and how she can best continue her breakthrough.

Gary and Danica additionally cover, among other news, Justin Bieber's new YouTube documentary and forthcoming album; BTS' performances on the Grammys and The Late Late Show with James Corden; Lady Gaga's early mental health struggles, as shared by her mother; and the music world's reaction to the loss of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

Plus, get up to date on this week's biggest chart news about Eminem, Maggie Rogers, Meg Myers and more.
